So my clutch is toast. One too many missed heal toe downshifts or hard launches at the track has done her in.

My original setup was:

Capclutch.com +30% clamp upgrade (el-cheap clutch)

Exedy OEM replacement disc

FD flywheel

Options are considering are:

ACT Xact prolite flywheel 9.9 lbs

Racing beat Aluminum flywheel

SR motorsports aluminum flywheel

Clutch discs:

Racingbeat

ACT

Pressure Plates

Mazda

OEM

ACT - heavy duty.

what combo is best. I tried searching... i've been up to date kinda on it but I haven't paid much attension.

Application is: TRACK! 75% track use 25% street.

I seem to like the racing beat street strip pressure plate with their 6 puck sprung. I have never had a bad Racing beat product....

i have the racing beat flywheel. It is really nice. make sure you get the 12 lb. The flywheel is heavy enough for getting around but it will be light enough to scare you if ur not used to it. All the hardware on it is really good quality too.

i have a unknown FW likely in the 9-12lbs range. and a ACT SS clutch and ACT HD PP, i love the feel of the the ACT setup, well worth the money as far as i am concerned. i picked the PP and Disc for 516 taxes in with ou the ailignment tool and TOB, because mine was brandnew already.

Right now I'm leaning towards the racing beat Street/Strip Pressure Plate, with the Racing beat 6 puck sprung clutch. ACT Prolite flywheel

Racing beat PP = 199 USD

Racing beat 6 puck sprung = $155.00 USD

Xact Prolite 9.9 lbs = 246 USD

I'm just worried that the 6 puck is too hardcore. But the car is mostly track use now, but I still want to drive her on teh street during summer.

Is 6 bucks that hardcore? Also what is the diff between a 4 puck and 6 puck?

if you're racing it a sprung hub puck style is great, they are only a pain from a stop.
