well i went out one morning not too long ago and went to start up my car..only when i tried to crank it it wouldnt crank..it sound like it was trying its hardest to run but the spark plugs never went off....after tinkering around with the car i noticed that the spark plugs were gone so i got new ones...and also i missed a couple of oil changes..so i put new oil in it...(give me a break i was in new york cause my dad got real sick real quik so changeing oil left my mind)....now i get it to run..yet it almost imediatly stalls out in revers and unless im giveing it gas it stalls out in any other gear aswell.....also it seems that a white smoke is comeing out of the exhaust...now when i first had problems i was very ver low on oil...and my exaust reaks of gasoline....if anyone knows anything i can check for or a solutionm besides rebuilding my engine please let me no....its an n/a btw and a convertable with an automatic transmission....-popparoach914- thats my aim..i need it running again..im tired of driveing my late fathers honda 4 door accord to school

Does this white smoke go away after a while or is it constant?

I would say coolant seals too providing the smoke is constant.

Another possibility might be worn out seals. How many miles are on this engine?

it could be so many things right now.... i would check and make sure you are getting good spark first. if you get continuous white smoke that is bad coolant seals..... need more info!

1. pull motor out

2. rebuild motor

3. put motor back in

you see....its that easy!!!!!

check compression first though

what does the smoke smell like...coolant?...or fuel?
