As I was taking off my UIM, a washer fell down my LIM. After working frantically to get the turbo and lim off I saw the washer sitting on the edge of the port.. That was too close! On a good note, I got my starter finally wire correctly. For some damn reason the stock circuit was not continuous did , So i unclipped the plug under the steering column and rewired all of it. I also got a whole bunch of little **** figured out. I will be ordering a new flying lead harness next week too!

I dropped a 1 inch clamp last year. It was at the edge of the port too. Luckily ihad one of those magnet pointers thiggies. I bent it to flow with the interior and got it out.

I was working on my car one night, and dropped a nut, but I didn't see where it went. The area I was working was right above the turbo. I was so close to saying "**** it, it fell on the ground" and put everything together. But I decided to go grab one of those teloscoping magnet things, bent it to fit down the outlet of the turbo, and sure as **** that is where the nut had fallen. Lucky for me I did that.

If that washer would have gone inside my engine, I would have called it quits for many years...

wow, I didn't even think about dropping stuff in the LIM when I was working there. Good thing I didn't drop anything down there!
