anyone considering removing the charcoal canister better already have the sub-zero tank gone

I left my charcoal canister in as it 's functional, weighs next to nothing, and doesnt get in the way whenever I work on the car.

I broke my nipple of the top of the canister too (little nipple) i am going to remove it tomorrow, but which line do i vent to the atmosphere? the fat line? or the small line?

Also.. i removed the Cruise control too, wha should i do with the nipple on the engine (vac line to cruise unit) Should i cap it? or leave it open?

The line on the firewall that goes from the gas tank to the charcoal canister s/b open vented when removing the canister. You can also open vent the other one that is on the oil filler neck, right? Cap the nipple for the cruise control.

You can open vent the one on the filler neck but I put a mini filter on that... I still have my canister hooked up. The filler neck vent doesnt go to the canister. Right behind that on the block is another line which goes to the canister.
