I dont know how many people would be willing to spend the money on a
FC to paint it the way I paint it, and I dont know if I would feel comfortable skipping steps to paint someone's car

It adds about a days worth of work by the time I do it, wet sand, 2 different compounds, 2 machine glazes, and one finishing glaze by hand, all 3M Perfect-It III which is thier newest stuff, Ill take a pic of the gloss, maybe it will come out cool if I put a ruler against the paint or something to try to get a perspective.

I do put one more coat on there for polishing, just so that when Im done I have the desired amount of paint still on there.
Some paints actually tell you to put more coats if your going to wet sand, when I used the DuPont Chroma Premier clear for my Lexus it was 2 coats, 3 if you were going to sand and polish, so I put 3. All of todays high solids stuff is 2 coats, anymore and you have too much paint on there which can chip easily.
