yah, i'm waiting for him to bust out his calculator, i'm thinking like $3500-4k with is a deal if its as good as it looks, its really hard to find a body shop that does a halfway decent job here

I know body shops that charge $2000 for a paint job. No taking apart, spot priming, no wet sanding and polishing, no painting of moldings,mirrors, **** like that, and its a crap shoot if they will use a brand name clear.
Trend is for alot of shops to skimp on the clear by using alot of these cheap clears that are out on the market now. A good line is "this is what they use in Germany, you never heard of it here because it just came to this country", you can insert any country in there, Italy is another good one they use, lol.
Money can be saved by taking the car apart and putting it back together by the owner. Also a note: I usually use 1 of 2 friends shops with paint booths when it comes time for full jobs and dont usually do it in my shop. Only prep is done in my shop then I borrow a booth to cut down on any dust.
