hey, i have a 90 GXL, and my exhaust is pretty much shot, well, from the catback, there are lots of options, but for the cat, i need to replace that, and since i don't wanna get a ticket or not pass inspection ( i didn't live in the states for very long, i moved here from germany ), well anyway, i went to the Mazda dealer, and a new Cat is 2240$ !!!!!!! OUCH, so i figured a different way would be better, suggestion welcome

thx

I just bought a bonez high flow cat for the same reason from www.rx7.com. Its listed as the "bonez performance main converter." Even though its listed under turbo, I called them up and they said it should bolt up. It costs $250.

Mazdatrix also sells cats..those are more expensive at $400 but they include an adapter so that it will bolt up to an RB header.
