Mine use to sit higher than that, i find it strange. Does your car have the under pannel on it?

weird, second time I have to post twice,

My car has the panel, my aftermarket temp gauge confirms the car

runs at 160, and once or twice in traffic when it was hot and I had the A/C on it went up to 180.
