I believe you can buy that hood right now from Mariah. But out of curiousity, when you say "if the price is right", what would be a fair price in your opinion?

ILUVMY88CABRIO 06-25-2002 07:46 PM

Free - $600, anywhere in that price range. I'd prefer free. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Fat chance getting a free one? Or that the price of the hood would fall into that range? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

I would question the function of that hood, how does air get in there?

The TII hood is deisgned so air come in the front by the radiator and flows out the scoop, it was never intended to bring air flow in. That is what is used to cool the air in the intercooler, good design bad place for the intercooler IMO. There is a pic of a CF hoof on another post the I think looks really good and is functional.

I like that but i want/need more vents, fu&* i'll just run w/o the hood.

I know what you say, but I was questioning the blue hood, not a TII hood.

Maybe you can run a clear "skeleton" hood. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif
