what up! i'm a new 7 owner and i'm thinking of changing my engine to a 91 NA, by the way i got an 86. so whats the dif. of the two car HP wise? and what kind of changes do i got to do, in the engine bay are they all gonna match? i need some ans. to people that have done this before. THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If youre gonne switch the engine, its probably not worth your time to switch it to an NA engine. You should put in a TII engine. It woud be a little harder on you and the wallet for the TII swap, but if youre gonna go through all the labor anyways, might as well do it for more than 15hp.

I agree! All the **** you would have to go through, you could do a little more work, spend a little more $ and have boost.

That swap isnt as easy as it sounds, you will need a compleate 91 motor and ECU.

even then its still a pain. the kouki harness wont plug into the dash harness of a zenki. That means you have to read through your wiring diagram of both cars and cut and splice together the harnesses or else none of the dash meters will work, wipers, etc.
