pondering buying this. guy wants 500 it was wrecked has new interior and racing beat exhaust. would have to find new shell is it worth it??

What are you planning to do with it? Do you want parts from it? Do you want to fix it? Does it still run? If you have space to part it I say go for it. I'm sure you could get at least $500 for a motor and tranny from that beast, and the rest is profit.

I can't really tell from the picture, but it looks like rear quarter panel, and suspension damage. It's probably not worth it to fix that chassis, but it depends on what you pay to fix it. If you can do body work and have extra parts laying about go for it. If not you'll spend thousands getting everything straight.
