Maybe it's located under the engine mount.

tribute alts are located just above the axel and mazda warrenty only pays i wanna say .9hr for it but it might be 1.9 its been a while since i had to do one. ower coast on reman alts for the tribute is 285 here plus 2.5hours labor. looks like someone got taken for a trip down dry dock cave. lol or i can look at it like this,,,,,,,,,, i need to charge more but my ****** boss wont let me.

warranty pays 2.1 and mazda list is 489.20... reman. dealer cost is 295

hmmmmmmmmm i wonder why that we only get paid the way we do, then again this shop is scared of the warrenty ppls at mazda.

My mazda6 is ford, honestly besides not getting anywhere near the fuel economy advertised its has never been to the dealer besides some bullshit with the brakes when it had 3000 miles on it.
