Broke it!
So, while I was trying to get my thermostat out, I broke the housing. where can I get a new one? lol. and about how much should I be paying for it?
In other news, about ten minutes after breaking my rx, I proceeded to destroy my 1970 Nova SS.
Dont ask me how, I've got no clue. but now it wont start, turn over or even produce light.

to use the s4 neck you have to swap to the s4 waterpump housing, they have individual bolt patterns (the necks)
kevin.
Figured there would be some catch to it! I took apart an S4 and an S5, never payed attention to it I guess.

theres even more catch!!!
you cant put the s4 housing onto an s5...... the s5 electronic OMP hits the lower rad neck, if u try to put the s4 pump housing on an s5 block!!!
just barly too, unfortunitly i found this out hte hard way when i didnt notice and tighten it down and the lower hose neck shattered!

i always thought it was the s5 housing on the s4 motor was the one that didnt work.
i think for s4 housing on s5 motor you need to grind away a bit of the bottom of the housing and then it fits.
*awaits j9 too chime in*
kevin.
