The rears are the only ones that come with the option of solid or vented. The front are vented. I am sorry if I made this confusing some where.

yeah, but if your car came with one, you can't substitute the other for it without getting different calipers. non-vented rears had a narrower caliper, and vented rear disc cars had a wider caliper. make sure to look at what yours is first. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. all FCs had vented front rotors. The only difference in the front is 4/5 lug. all the 5 lug rotors are the same, regardless of wheter you have 1 or 4 piston calipers on the front.

also, rear calipers aren't cheap. a stock reman for my GXL (vented rear) was $90 or so, while remans for the front (4 pistons) were only like $36 apiece. It's cheap to upgrade the front to 4 piston if you don't have them already (mounts are the same), but the rear you might as well leave alone if you don't have vented already. Unless you have a spare $180 just for stock calipers.

I didnt realize there was a size difference in the vented and non vented. I havnt seen any with non vented rears.

Wtf is with that rotor?? lol

Oh I see. Good to know , thanks lxk199. So the stock calipers on a 10th anniversary would be vented im guessing? Therefore the calipers would be wider? Should double check though.

I looked at a lot of websites that sells brembos with the right

SKU (25362) (25621)

and they are going for about $34.29 (front) per rotor, and $71.21 (rear) per rotor.

They are both vented.

Is that a good price range? too cheap? too expensive?

Tirerack.com is a good place for brakes. Even upgrades.

Tirerack doesnt have rears for sale.

coximport.com and speedycarparts.com has both front and rear for a bout the same price.

You guys heard of them?

All TII's (so 10AE included) had vented rears, but it doesn't hurt to double-check what you have. The vented calipers AND carriers are wider than non-vented, so you have to have both, but if your car is a 10AE you should be made in the shade.

Those prices seem about right for rotors. You MIGHT be able to find a little cheaper rears, but the fronts are right on par. I have all Bendix lifetime stuff on my GXL and I paid around that much.
