I am planning to upgrade my break rotors to Brembo slotted.

I emailed the guy on the website that i am planning to purchase these from, and asked if these were genuine Brembos, and he sais the fronts are brembos but the rears are a differnt brand. He sais brembo doesnt acctually make a rear rotor for the rx7. Is this true?

And i asked him if it comes slotted or does he slot them, and his reply was, "I have a company that does the slotting or drilling". Is that bad or good?

What other question should I ask him?

Any input would be appreciated!

Call Brembo and see if they make such a product for the front. I think he is having the same company do the front also.

Well, looking at the catalog, all the rotors for the FC are not cross drilled or slotted. It also appears that they do not make rotors for the 4 lug RX.

Front - 25362

Rear (vented) - 25621

Rear (solid) - 25866

I will call them Ronin, just to make sure, thanks.

Jef, looking at the catalog, do they make rotors for the 5 lugs?

But without slots of holes right. Stock replacement Brembo.

Some guys machine replacements and try to sell them as "Brembo Slotted/Drilled"

Exactly Ronin. They only make rotors for the 5 lugs. Stock replacements.

Hmm I see. Well I personally think that stock replacement Brembos...(is it vented? or just solid?) would be enough for my use as of now. Im just streeting it, and im not gonna get into tracks anytime soon. But I just thought might as well get slotted now...

You guys think stock brembo replacement is enough?

They should be fine. Most brake pads now adays have a slit in the middle of them that does essentially the same thing.

I would get the vented rear rotors.

why are only the rears vented? or are they both, but the rears are the only ones that you have an option on?

The rears are the only ones that come with the option of solid or vented. The front are vented. I am sorry if I made this confusing some where.
