I have the stock rotors and calipers on my 87 GXL. I want to put on rotors that fill out the wheel a little more. I think it would look better. Not too concerned here about stopping because the stocks do just fine and I don't race my car at all.

I just want something for looks here. What would be involved in changing these out and which would you go with for bigger rotors and calipers?

Thanks.

You're getting in a little over your head. If you want bigger rotors, you'll need bigger calipers because they will no longer fit. I believe there is a company out there that makes a big brake kit for FC's, but it's in the $2K-$3K range.

15 inch wheels

Easiest way, and the rotors will look bigger

doesn't the GXL already have 15" rims? and slightly larger brakes than the 4-lug setup?

The GXL came stock with 15 inch wheels but the stock brakes don't fill out the 17 inch wheels I am running now.

If it is too much I understand because it is not high on the priority list. I just thought it would look better.
