Can I just order rotors and calipers from a GSL/SE and bolt them up to my half-shafts? After putting in the LSD this weekend, I realized what PITA those rear drums are...I'd really like to ditch them now.

Is this feasible or am I going to need new half-shafts and other misc. parts?

Half shafts? you got IRS in that FB??

That's a good question, I'm not sure if the disk backing plate will bolt up to a drum backing plate rear end. Hmm...

I guess half-shafts isn't the right term? LOL.

Yeah I would like it to be a direct swap...I hate those stupid brakes man...

the rear end housings are different for disc and drum brakes. drum has a 4 bolt flange and disc uses 3. the axle shafts are the same between disc and drum except for the gsl-se which is a different bolt pattern.

i have seen people make a caliper bracket that lets you bolt the gsl caliper on the drum brake rear with no other changes. although the easiest is just to get a complete lsd/disc rear

I guess I will just have to deal with those drum things then...since I already swapped out the LSD.
