what do you mean straight through? it has mufflers doesnt it? and ts a cat back...
It has mufflers, you pick the muffler up, look in one end, and right out the other, there is like a baffle in there or some ****, but the exaust passes cleeeeeeeean through, not thru the baffle.

The mufflers do alot of the quieting down... when my Y pipe flange broke off I wanted to cry it was so loud, but this was with RB header + presilencer only... no cat, but the volume difference was huge without the stock mufflers... after that added RB Y pipe and mufflers, then it sounded very sexy at idle and wot.

When my exaust was getting done, I went there and heard the car before the mufflers got welded on. The next day when I picked the car up, it sounded the same, so basically the Borla mufflers didnt muffle anything

I believe that the RB mufflers are straght through, but I never bothered to check. XR-1's are ALOT louder than other Borla mufflers.
