That is odd that hooking it into a source from the UIM soesn't work. Maybe the vacuum line is bad/broken. Try running some new line to hit off the UIM.

I'm thinking of just tapping right into the TB, antone know if this would be a bad thing? I can always plug the hole if I get rid of the gauge.

I think I'm going to be making a custom inlet for the TB, and I was thinking of just drilling an hole into it (or the TB) tapping that hole, then screwing the other end of the hose that goes to the boost gauge into that hole. I think you were thinking I was talking about tapping into one of the vac lines from the TB. :unsure:
