I have been looking for a reasonably priced exhaust re[placement parts for my N/A since I got it. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the RB header that I purchased on eBay. It was supposed to have been barely used, only six months old. Great, I thought. Save some money for the other parts I need and I'll have a nice header.

This is what arrived after one month of waiting...

Look how the collector is cut off....

WTF!!!

Now the seller won't return email or calls. I have always had good experiences on eBay until recently and I've been trading there for years. I also just purchased some FTP lenses that were supposed to be inexcellent condition, all the studs are broken off. That's another story....

What can I do with this header? Is it worth salvaging? I guess I could have a muffler shop weld a new collector on it, but is it worth the trouble?

If I get ahold of him....

BTW - The sellers name is Scott Florschuetz and lives in Bakersfield, CA. He owns a 1979 Base and a 1986 GXL. If any of you know him, tell him he's a ******* peice of ****.

you can just weld on the flange, or put a collector on it, its not a big deal

Ebay is hit and miss I guess... especially with private sale used auto parts. I've had a couple bad experiences too. Its still worth filing a complaint and all that...
