if u ever got a fmic u would want, no i mean need an openin g WAY bigger than this. If u ever had a fmic u would proabably have a big one. i would think people would spend money on a big turbo first, then need a heafty fmic.

That opening looks bigger than stock, and the stock front end works well with FMIC's. A good FMIC should be installed before a big turbo. The IC alone makes a nice HP gain.

Wow, I REALLY like the look of the nose piece for the BoMex kit. The guy I bought the car from was recommending the very same kit if I ever felt the need... My question is, has anyone ever seen one of these? I'm not really one for body kits, and especially since I'm trying to keep my rex as classic looking as possible... But I'd really look into getting just the nose piece IF it lines up with the stock rear bumper and sides. lol, like I said, not a big body kit guy, so I've no idea if they design these things to match up with stock body mouldings or not. Somebody clue me in? =P

Bomex is a premier body kit manufacturer in Japan, and the kits they make are very well made and you would able to buy just the nose if you'd like and it would have no trouble lining up. Personally, I like the kit as a whole, but the nose to me looks more like an MR2 then an RX7...they should have left the FTP lenses. Another badass looking front end(that I'm not getting because it leaves the popups) is the Knightsports new one...it is very clean looking and has some good features. I am personally going with the RE amemiya because of two things, it has a HUGE mouth on the front for a bigger FMIC that I plan on adding, and it removes the popups for the stationary lights that newer cars use these days. Not that I don't dislike the Rx7 curves and styling from the factory, but personally..mine looks old and needs some cosmetics. Just my thought on this.

If you really want a body kit and if money is not a problem call Bozz performance and ask thenm to send you a copy of the new RX7 mag by HYPER REV there you will see all kinds of **** for 2nd and 3rd gen models. Trust me it will worth the money to get the mag from them or go to

www.takakaira.com and check out what they offer.

Look up Rotary Run racing in Japan, they have a really cool kit, and also have a pretty sweet fiberglass hood for the fc3s.

Well the RE amemiya is the front end I'm getting...but I'm getting it for 1600. the rest of my kit will consist of Bomex sides and rear w/ a factory GTU wing. I like the looks of it all. BTW, the Kaminari kit isn't available anymore...they had a warehouse fire about a year or two ago and the rx7 molds burned down...sorry!
thats 1600 WITHOUT shipping right? i've seen it for that price at rx7secret (or some name like that) and another site (rotary-something) for 1680 i think...but i thought shipping was a lot?

My friend knows Bomex people and he got his bumper and side skirts for free. The bumper is really nice and good quality, with noe more moulding. Personally, I think the sideskirts make the car look the best. I would have a stock front bumper with Mazdaspeed lip spoiler and Bomex side skirts.
