so i finally got my 7 running and driving great, but the vacume caps i used to block off the coolant keep poping on me. ive used rtv in the caps and clamped them. but idk if i should just take vice grips and crimp them and then weld the hole shut. or use some other method. i know this is prolly a very dumb question but any help would be great

most reliable way seems to be just to run a hose from the WP to the engine. the water pump hose is actually pretty easy, the hose nipple will just come out, and then you can thread it and put a bolt in there, or a water temp gauge sender...

back of the motor is harder cause its iron
