Ok, all these post about clutches made me think of a question I had. I recently replaced the clutch in my 88 and everything is good. Pedal feel is fine and I filled the clutch resevoir to the full line. Should I bleed the clutch to make sure there is no air in the lines? or just leave it? Btw the resevoir was only like 1/4 down from the full line when I filled it, so it was never empty or anything like that. Thanks

you only need to bleed the clutch if you had a leak, or disconnected the line. You can do it for maintenance and get nice clean fluid in ther though, like sorrow said.

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and bled it and it turned out there was some air in the system. I was careful not to let the fluid run down past the min line so the air had gotten in there somehow. The pedal feels better now with the air out and new fluid.
