I need a new gearbox for my S5 MT, but I figure I should upgrade instead of just replacing the one I've got. the target torque for the car is around 300. Anyone know of a reputable distributor? gearbox's are pretty universal right? you just might need an adaptor plate, correct? is there any advantage/disadvantage to buying the gearbox alone opposed to a full trans package?
