Just curious what sort of ignition everybody is using, and what you all think the best is. I think I'm gonna get the Jacobs Rotary Pak...I already have the wires...

I plan to be very high powered. If I can get the shop opened before september, I'm pulling the motor on the GT-X...porting it(something similar to Bridgeporting), having the rotors milled to accept a 3mm apex seal, race bearings, and some additional "stay strong" goodies. Then strapping on the t78 or t88 turbo w/ customer exhaust and intake, running a 175 wet system, etc....I want to compete regularly on the NIRA circuit. I'm hoping to get 9s or lower wish me luck...just maybe I'll get famous, lol!

wow. you don't have to run 3mm seals... unless you can' tune. if you detonate you will blow whatever seal is in there

That is true. lol. I want the 3mm APEX seal because I can get 3mm APEX seals made in CF, iron, steel, etc...for cheaper then 2mm ones. lol...its gonna be about another year before the car is ready for full fledged racing...I'm just driving it until June...then I'll retire it from the road for the most part. I'm going to do the Street class..power 6 so the car will still maintain its streetability, but I wont be able to really drive around town due to noise and cops, lol...
