So it went dead, I got a jump. My face plate still does its flippy thing, but it doesn't turn on. Is there a fuse for this? If so, which is it? I don't have my fuse cover, except under the hood.

im not sure how it is for fc's but on my car...... i blew a fuse and the face still did the flippy thing, and the security light was still on as well.....

could have something to do with a higher than normal voltage while jumping, probably blew a fuse

You have a fuse on the BACK of the radio itself? Coulda blown that.

actually, I think I recall seeing that there...good thinking, I'll check that out. but it does still flip. Oh well, I'll just pull all the fuses when I get home and check them out.

yea the room fuse is only 7.5, which i dont think goes good with aftermarket radios at all mine i replaced with a 10 which hasnt blown yet that i can recall.



oh and i found one of the fuse covers in the junkyard, that was the find of a lifetime for me lol, i rarely see those fuse covers on any of my friends 7s
