so my gas mileage keeps getting worse and my exhaust smells terrible. I have a little over 1/4 of a tank left and i've driven 95 miles.

i'm guessing old leaking fuel injectors? when its cold, my car has major problems starting up (hesitation until it gets warm, likes to stall out, i usually just let it idle for like a minute or so)

any suggestions?

over the christmas break my mechanic hooked my car up to a computer and said he didn't pick up any problems with the sensors.

every time i'm around people, they know i've been in my car because i smell like gas, and its not from any beans i had the night before.

what is WTO?

WOT=Wide Open Throttle, in other words "do you have the need for speed"

dude, my car is doing the same ****. all ecu codes check out ok, minus the emissions that have been removed. im not easy on the throttle, but 5 mpg is pretty ridiculous. compression is good and all that business. i dont know what the deal is.

if you constantly are beating on the car, I can see getting 5-8 mpg.

Mine gets great mileage considering it runs rich enough to toss a flame out every time it goes over 4k. I get 23mpg highway, and at worst 14.5 mpg if I'm taking it to redline off every 9/10 lights.
