The only acessory I want to have is the A/C. If im crusing and I have the ac on will not having the BAC on make anything happen to the car? Now if im at a stop and I dont have the BAC and I turn on the A/C it will kill the engine right? If i raise the idel up to around 1K when the engine is warm would the A/C kill the engine at a stop? My engine idels at like 600 rpm when warm would raising it to 1 K solve it?

Don't know why you want to get rid of it but I would say that if you raise the idle to 1000 you should be able to take it off. It might make the idle a little rough until you work things out though. I know some people who hated their after-BAC idle.

Just unplug it and find out

I know someone (I think Jerk Racer) had no BAC and was having no idle issues at all but most people do.

Why are you removing it? I remember you said it wasn't working right, did you inspect it and clean it at all?

you can just block it off and turn off your a/c at idle. It's really no problem unless your in traffic.

it works fine but the thing is on the metal lines where coolant flows whas full of some nastey **** so I took it to a wire brush and when all that stuff came off there was a hole in it. If I put it back on I dont know if there is a chance it will leak coolant.

That coolant passage is held on to the BAC with two screws.. I just removed that from the BAC and ran a new hose from the back of the water pump housing under the UIM right to the nipple on the rear rotor housing below the TB (did TB mod). There is no need to remove the BAC just because of that and you can bypass that coolant thing even if you don't want to do the TB mod.

Well Mazda routed a coolant line there for a reason, probably to keep the BAC from sticking when its cold out.. anyway, yeah mine is off and everything is fine.. do the TB mod too and clean all that **** up.

You can cap the EGR if you want.
