Ok here is the deal...

I got a 87/5 speed tranny..

90 peddles..

clutch master..

flywheel

I recommend you getting a clutch kit..with the throw out bearing...pliot bearing..disc..pressure plate....

I have to look at the car to think what else.

I can get racing clutches made cheap..

4 puck ceramic ..full race clutch disc for $70.

plz respond on this...tell me what you need

Did you get a quote to get your rebuilt compleate with warranty and all? You can save some money by taking it out and putting it in.

the people at mazda told me it would be 1800 plus hard parts to rebuild. im sure someone would do it for cheaper.

Mazda will just rebuild it to the same shitty specs it came with from the factory. If you DO get it rebuilt then got to a shop that can beef it up AND warranty the work.

**** Mazda doing it, go to a good transmission shop with a good reputation. I should call my transmission shop and ask them how much they would charge, you being in Texas does it no good, but IM curious now. I never blew up a transmission they did for me.

yeah find out how much then i can say that someone else quoted me that price if its better than what i get.

I did a conversion on an 86 took me a while but the biggest problem I had was that I forgot to jump out the neutral safety switch and couldnt get it running I eventually bought a manual wiring harness. Had to build extensions for mounts because the body mounts are in different place. I would do it again if the car was special ( mint, upgrades, nice paint, good stereo install, you get the idea) but otherwise buy a manual with a blown engine strip your car and put your engine in the "new" car, sell the parts maybe even come out ahead!

CURRENT PROJECT: 10TH ANNIVERSARY UNDER 10 SECONDS

parts:

big j bridge housings, race modified eccentric shaft, race bearings, hurley 3.5 mm duplex seals, hurley apex oiling system, NOS setup, t-70 turbo, front mount intercooler, injectors, 4 additional injectors, race flywheel, custom intake, custom cold air intake box, haltech computer with 486 laptop to run it, polished aluminum ( all of it cost me over $2500 includes calipers, rotor housings, trans case, water pump housing, front cover, power steering/ac bracket, you get the idea) clutch that will hold the horses?, subframe connectors?

cost: $15,000

THANK GOD I HAVE MASTERCARD!
