i started to take off parts in order to take the engine out. but need to get the celica out of the way before i can get the garage space. so i worked on that. as soon as the celica is done ima take the engine out. in the meantime i should be taking the rest of the engine crap out.

i need to drain the fluids. oil, should i wait till am ready to take the engine out, or is it ok to do it now??

im hoping to make it by the BBQ. but who knows. if anything i might ride with my friend in his 12A isuzu pick up.

Just wait to drain the fluids when you're ready to take it out. It's usually not good to let the motor sit "dry."

You'll only get coolant coming from the BAC valve, etc. It's not that much. 6 port NA motors don't have the holes for coolant flow in the rotor housings.
