i dont know about you guys but the trunk lid on my vert felt pretty damn light to me.. im sure it would not really make THAT much of a difference.. I always thought CF doors would probably be the best weight saver on the vert.. but im sure body rigidity would suffer if not done right..

To anyone who is interested, the trunk lid can be done in CF or fiberglass. It all depends on what the majority of people want for their cars. And since we haven't made the trunk lids I don't know what the weight savings would be. I can tell you that our fiberglass sunroof panel weighs 3.5 pounds versus the stock 10 pounds. I would think that the weight savings would be substantial if we were to make the vert trunk lid. And yes, the stock hinges and stock latch would all bolt up the same as an OEM piece. I'm not a fan of CF either. But we make what our customers want. I can tell you now that a fiberglass trunk lid will weigh the same as a CF lid but will be MUCH cheaper.
