Your Intermediate Ports look bigger, Ported?

Just curious as to what it cost you? And what you replaced?

short block is just the keg, no manifolds, accessories, nothing on it. A longblock is the whole engine, with all manifolds, accessories etc.

So, when in the car, there's no distinction between short and long block, am I right? Just a matter of what you're dealing with outside the car, right?

yes it a term used when the engine is outside the car, because its always a longblock when installed and running.

its kind of a piston engine term. a shortblock piston engine is just the bock, pistons and rods.

a long block is the short block with the cylinder head (s)
