OK well my stock fuel pump died and I ordered a walbro. The first time I had to force it in gently in order to make the tank lid close. THen my filthy fuel tank clogged the walbro. I opened it and cleaned it, and got a replacement strainer from struass. The replacement fit fine but sits too low to reclose the tank. I tried every fitting pump stainer in strauss and not a single one fits right. HAs anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?

How did you have a problem, arent walbros same size as stock? It should just drop in and look the same as the stock one did, well except pretty and silver.

the walbro is actually quite a bit smaller then stock, but it should just drop in, i believe they give you a longer piece of hose to make up for the smaller size.
