Nah, you're cursed. I bet that if you tried my motor the eccentric shaft would crack, or some weird thing like that.

You'll get the turbo and manifolds, which may make it worth the money if the motor is ok to rebuild.

Call me crazy, but my point is if you have the engine out, why not just go thru the thing right then and there and have no surprises later? Is it not worth the rebuild kit if you want to have something reliable, especially if your going to mod it?

I agree entirely. And while you're at it, break out the grinder and port the thing.
