I think this guy is trying to **** me. As you may or may not know, I'm trying to sell my car so... I get this email originally from a guy saying he has a "client" really interested in buying my car. So, standard protocall, I reply to him and I get this email

I am glad to hear from you.Actually I will like you to send pics of the car for my client to view .Please note that your price of $6,000 .00 is well accepted. Meanwhile I want to confirm from my client how the payment will be,because the amount in the check that is suppose to be given to you is more than what should be paid to you.Because the company that is owning my client wants to make out the check with whole amount, both the shippment charges and agent fees,so please get back to me the moment you recieve this mail for more clearifications.

I will contact my client soonest.

Thanks and have a nice weekend.

It sounds to me like that one scam that was going around. I replied saying that I will only deal with the buyer direct so if this guy is serious he should stop beating around the bush. I haven't heard from him since so either i insulted him or this guy is trying to rip me off.

Yea that sounds like it. Tell them you'll take cash, no checks, no money orders, nothing.

Also a wire transfer is permanent you can't reverse it so that's an option.

Most message boards with FS sections have scammers like that on there.
