Front Tires Wearing On The Inside
#1
My front tires are wearing on the inside. I'll probably replace all of the bushings before I do anything else but I was wondering, Can I do the alignment myself? Id like to adjust it a little until I get the bushings. I have a new set of tires waiting to go on and I dont want to put them on until I get the bushings on. But the tires that are on now are almost new, I didnt catch the wear in time but Id like to stop it from wearing the tires that are on it without spending the money just to have it done again in a month.
Wear to the inside is camber? Right?

Yes, it's very doable. I adjusted the caster, camber and toe-in on my 1st gem. BTW this site entitled Do-It-Yourself Alignment was invaluable resource. I must say that it was a PITA to get everything setup at first but now that I know what I'm doing it a piece of cake. Good luck!

Thanks Inittab, I messed around with it today, all I managed to do was make my steering wheel crooked. but I learned a whole lot. Ill try it again tomorrow - trial and error method until it doesnt travel anymore.
I adjusted both sides even with the back tires and it seems to drive the exact same way, except with the crooked steering wheel. I know thats not the right setting but I was really just trying to get an Improvement.
I wish I had a giant dial ruler.
