ok Im trying to fix my car not starting, I figured it was vapor lock because I live in Az and its crazy hot here and its already like 100 degrees here and I figured my fuel was to hot to start the car. Ive also thought it was the battery but I dont know because I have tried to jump my car with jumper cables and it still wont start. The only time my car starts is when its really cooled down, and sometimes it doesnt when its cooled. So I dont even know if the heat is the problem im getting real desporate to find the answer to why my car almost never starts. I’ve been in 120 degree Phoenix and what you’re describing sounds like a common hot start/flooding issue. If the injectors are leaking after shutdown, you’ll loose compression, and it will be hard to start. If the motor is old, AND your down on compression, AND the injectors are leaking, it will be EXTREMELY hard to start. If that sounds like you, a fuel kill switch may be in your near future. You may want to do a search on flooding.

where can I find a fuel kill switch, and what does it do because I think you are dead on and completely right on the problem. What should I do.

I was reading that page and it says loss of compression is there any way to restore compression on rotories?

Best way is a rebuild. There are ATF and MMO tricks, but they are, at best, a temporary fix, and there are many doubts as to whether or not the ATF trick does anything.

A rebuild is the only way to restore compression. The compression loss is cuased by worn seals.
