hola everyone, I havent posted anything forever from other things going on but now that i have some time, i wanted to go back to what i love...no pistons. lately the thought of a turbo'd NA has become a more appealing and I am really getting into it. I have read and researched the idea a little bit, and a few things that i have realized are "scary". I am fairly new to rotaries and mechanics in general, but my close friends are fairly good with vehicles. I still am not 100% confident with what method of turboing the car i want to go through with. I would prefer swapping everything from a TII over but since that would be hard to find a wrecked TII, it seems unlikely. Turboing my s4 block sounds like the last resort, so I guess that leaves swapping the na motor with a turbo motor. I am hoping for this to be as painless as possible so ALL advice is appreciated: obstacles in the way of the swap, tips and tricks, things that work and dont work, etc... also a good place to find a motor (i am from washington) either around the state or online. Thanks

yeah I have read the FAQ NA to Turbo multiple times and I am just prioritizing and figuring out the steps of how I will do all of this. But i am just looking for tips and things that people could pass on or things that were in the way during it all, thanks though.

Im not saying your question is stupid, so dont interpret it like that.

But, your questions dont sound like they are coming from someone who is prepared to do what you are proposing to do. You need to research turbocharging, maybe buy some literature reguarding all the aspects of it like fuel enrichment, timing, managing heat, and selecting a turbo to name a few.

You will learn more than anyone could tell you in a couple paragraphs. And you wouldnt have to hear a pound of oppinion for every ounce of fact.

"??HP7" '89 TII => 13B-RE, bridge port, Garret T3\4, greddy fmic, etc. lookin for 450+rwhp hopefully 500+ on 100octane

well if its ever put together!
T3/T4 on a rotary = 450+? How many of them does it take?
