Before I start with the problem I just wanna say that this is the best site that I have ever come across for the RX-7 enthusiasts. But now my problem. Since it is getting colder up here now, like 30 degrees an night and only like 50 during the day, I have a problem with starting my car in the morning. The car will start up fine, but then 30 seconds go by and the buzzer and the ADD COOLANT light come on. But my coolant level is full and at the right hight. I have no coolant leaks anywhere so I don't know if this is a cold start problem, or something else. If you guys know anything, and could help me out with this I would really appreciate it.

welcome to np

These cars are electrically challenged so it could just be the idiot light doing its thing or it could be the sensor.

it could be the coolant switch going bad. Ask vosko when he had to drive 4 hours with it buzzing.

Does it happen every morning??? Check to see if the switch opening is not warp and having air enter when it cools down, you should see some spotting around it on top of the radiator.

Yes it does happen just about every morning, except this morning, but this morning was warm, say around 50 degrees or so.
