I have a 89 GXL now though. Once I fix those damn 6 ports, I'll be flying.

You can make an NA pretty fast, as long as everything is working ok...that's usually the tough part.

I have only had the AE up to 120. I don't want to break anything, and I don't trust the tires on the car now. I guess I could put the rims/tires from my vert on there, they have z rated tires, plus the rims are smaller dia. and lighter. Too bad I wouldn't know if I really hit 150 though, because of the diff in rim size.

Rim size has nothing to do with the speedometer. It's the tire diameter that's important.

Check out http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html . They do all of the calculations for you.

What I ment was that I would be changing the overall diameter of my tire. I think you knew what I ment.

On the vert I've got 225 50 15s I don't know what is on the AE. It wouldn't surprise my if all 4 tires were a diff. size.

What was the stock tire size for the TII?
