Mine does the same sometimes. It's because your BAC is crappy. Mine will stall at first, but will be fine after the BAC loosens up.

ok, I had already checked for vacuum leaks. and like Rotary>piston said, once It has been on for bit before letting it idle, it will stay on and not kill the engine at idle.. So the Bac Valve huh..? Is that thing expensive, or can it be cleaned..?

I think I remember reading in the haynes manual that you can clean it...otherwise, just buy one from someone who removed theirs.

there is another fix... i had the same problem last summer there's a wiring harness that likes to come undone especially if you have work done to the motor and a rough idle.... it's just one of those mazda electrical problems. i had the same problem with my car last summer and the wiring harness would come undone and it would sound like there was a vaccum leak somewhere under the hood, but it was just the ac trying to work and it was blowing cold but the car would stall without throttle. before you start investigating parts like the bac make sure every one of thoes wiring harnesses is extremelly tight or you might just have the same loose connection that i had.
