Are 88 TII and 88 NA AC units interchangable?

you just have to determind which ac compressor you have, two were offered, a Nippon/Denso and a Sanden, as long as you have the same style on each car you should be able to swap them.

AC was a dealer/port option.

Most were installed at POE which I believe was Long Beach.

All 2nd gens used one of those two compressors.

the higher option cars (turbos, gxl's) come with ac from the factory, the lower content cars come with no ac and get port installed, generally. once in a while you run into a base with factory nd air
