Abs Brakes

wow. Why do you want to put in an ABS system? Its pretty big undertaking. You need all new hardlines (5). And you need the ABS unit, plus the computer and all the wiring and sensors throughout the vehicle.
Im not 100% sure if the non-abs equipped hubs are equiped with the ring gear and mounts for the hub sensors either....

Haha! Yeah, I could make you a deal on a leaky ABS pump (I think I might still have it), and all the lines and the CPU, but you really don't want to do this! I went to considerable trouble to get rid of that junk!
But then I'm not an advocate of ABS. I think it's pretty much worthless, even dangerous. The only people that should get it are people with no understanding of physics and who generally don't know how to operate a car.

I'm just considering ABS since it's available on most new cars now and insurance companies actually take that into consideration. But I'm still open to opinions about it. I've read about some people actually saying that the ABS system is not as good as it is supposed to be. Can someone please clarify this?

My original idea was just to upgrade the entire brake system to that of a ABS equipped Turbo II. How about if I just go for a front caliper upgrade to a 4 piston one? What stuff do I need to change other than the hoses and the caliper? Do I need a new master cylinder and other stuff?
