i just bought an 88' Rx-7 turboII, the origanal problem was the clutch needed replacing. but the owner never got around to fixing it. it sat for 2 years, so i towed it home, bought a clutch kit,changed all the fluids including gas, so my question is this...im not sure how turbo's work, and on a rotary i know even less.

i am affraid to start the car until i know if i should do anything to the turbo. i have learned they use oil to stay lubricated and after 2 years im sure there is no oil in it.

any advice would be greatly apreciated as i dont want to spend a bunch of money on ignorance and impatience so i thought id ask.

 

great thinking, check around on this and other sites for faq, and if you get real ambitious look for a factory service manual. it is the best tool you can use to work on your car.
