hi my car has a new akins engine in it with no emissions on it. its running pre mix to. its mostly all stock too. full exhaust, no emissions, cone air filter. the car will start and then die. it doesnt run for more then 10 secs. i want to time it but it wont stay started for long to do it.



the car starts fine but once it starts it dies. i been checking all parts but havent found any that are bad.



any help would be nice and thankful. thanks alot chris

 

are you sure the your air flow meter is plugged in and functioning correctly? sometimes the plug likes to get loose . its happened to me more than once.

 

Check all the vacuum hoses for leaks, make sure all the electrical components are plugged in (easy to forget the AFM), check to see that the base timing is correct, basically check everything.
