The ceramic apex seals cause no measurable wear on the housings and permit you to use uprated apex seal springs (they are included with the ceramic seals) so they can be used at high rpm effectively (>9k) without apex seal float/chatter problems which would be experienced with the mazda seals and stock springs. However I doubt I'll be operating at that rpm since I'd have to clearance my rotors and do a bit more porting.. eh, I want to rev to 10k on street

The ceramic seals still seem like they would be great even if I kept it <= 9k, low wear characteristics and stronger springs.. at least when rebuild time came around the rotor housings would be in great shape and the apex seals reusable. Of course, I'm NA so it's unlikely that I'd detonate and break these things.

send judge ito a PM he is alot better with high rpm engines than me. he knows what you have to do to make bridgeport engines last. i don't think he uses ceramic seals
