I'm putting my engine back together now and have come to the point where I replace the fuel injector O-rings. The full gasket kit I got from Mazdatrix doesn't have the same style of injector O-rings. The ones that are on now, the old ones, are about 1/8" thick. The "new" ones are just your typical O-ring, about 1/16" thick. Am I missing something here? Do I really have the right parts? I could use some guidance here from those who have done there own rebuilds here.

I'm worried that the thinner ones will not make the injector seat hard into the seat. Any other Input? Hello? Hello? Does anyone else care?

the rail being bolted down holds it togather, you just need the o ring to seal

Why are they called O rings when "ring" means circle?

maybe it's the shape of a cross section of the ring. I suppose you could have d-shaped rubber in a ring (flat outside, curved inner radius)

or I'm full of it
