I have an 86 Sport that has 1 of the head light retractor relays messed up and i am wondering is there a way to replace it using a standard relay or do i have to find the exact relay?

Damn since no one could help i took the one 1 had apart and compared it to a standard relay. I followed the connections on the old relay to where on the relay they go and this is what i came up with. I will test my idea tomorrow

I was actually just looking at eliminating the relays altogether on my fd. A simple switch on the dash to raise and lower them. The relays are way over complicated for no reason. The motors themselves have 4 pins. One for power, ground, up, and down. I'm planning on running a fused power straight to the motors, then fused power to a three prong two position switch to send power to either the up or down circuits.
