Did a quick run on 3rd gear from 3k to redline. Wow was that fast once i hit boost. The psi peaked at 9psi now.

4th gear should redline pretty quickly too. My car was really good in 5th with the T-78, but I never tried to redline it in 5th.

why is that?? why can u hit different psi in different gears.
In higher gears there's more load on the engine and the boost usually creeps up higher. You have alot to learn. :P
yes i know. B)

That car is been there for years. They have been slowly fixing it. Right now they are putting new brakes, calipers and rotors. Everything is special order or rebuilded.

I noticed the Kumho tires you've got too...do you like them? I have them on my rx7 right now but I haven't had a chance to break them in yet...they won't last long.

Also, did you have any fitment problems w/ the turbo?

They are pretty good tires for the money. There are better tires out there but the Kumho give u the best performace with the tread wear I want.

I think the biggest fitment problem with the turbo as the compressor side. When the discharge pipe was poiintign down it would press agaist the lower radiator house. Iwasnted to run this way to keep the number of pipe bend mininal but couldn't. It seem that a s5 waterpump housing causes problem. I coudl of gone with a s4 waterpump housing but the I would have to remove the elec OMP but I din't have a block off plate. Anywyas, I just spent 200 on a new fan clutch which is only good in a s5 water pump. But now that i spend so much money on that stupid pipe, I should of done the swap and use the s4 waterpump houseing and pump with the s4 fan and clutch. You live and learn.

creep?? umm not with and external wastegate LOL...

the reason it's not hitting 10. is because it's hitting 10 at the turbo (where the wastegate line is), but you loose boost by the time it gets to the TB. the IC and every bend in the pipe drop the boost.

You'll get creep when the wastegate is a little undersized for the turbo.
