Well, since talkin w/ explicit bout some new wheels, I guess I've come to the point where I'll bid farewell to my 4lug pattern...I really wanted to keep them because it adds to the sleeper style since SE nonturbo rx7s are the only FC w/ them...and my car hasnt been through the body work stage yet...but oh well, I was gonna convert after the paintjob anyways..so why not...
now here's my ?....I have access to a parts car with everything needed for the conversion. However, I really don't care much to swap over to the 4piston brakes, but I will if needs be(i just redid my brakes a year ago and they only have 45miles on them,lol)...what all do i need for the conversion...the hub, and what else. I shouldn't need axles because I already have T2 axles...

I'm pretty sure you need to switch the calipers. The rears are the same I think, but the fronts are way different.
If you're worried about having to bleed the brakes, don't worry. It's easy to do if you have a friend, or one of those things that does it.
Oh yeah, all of the brake rotors are obviously different (yours have 4 holes, the others have 5 )

I am actually about to do my 5 lug swap in about a week. My rotors, calipers, and hubs are all together in one piece. I'm just going to detach the 3 (I think) mounting bolts holding it all on, and swap them like that. The only part I'm worried about is the rear hubs, but that's just because I haven't read up on how to remove them yet. I'll be borrowing an impact drill and air compressor for the job, as suggested by fellow foruminians.
Anyone see any problem with that plan? Will I need to do anything with bearings, or the grease in them? Should I get the calipers rebuilt, or do they normally stay good? Should I get the rotors turned? The seller said they had been recently turned, but now they're covered with rust.

baldy i think the easiest way in the rear would be to unbolt the axles, and the rear hub and swap that whole assembly.

hhmm.....you know, I do need to replace my diff. I read where people said that was harder than swapping a motor. Were they talking about the diff internals?
And if I do what you're suggesting, I'd have to remove the axles from the hub eventually, right? The hubs going in don't have the axles already on them.
Bear with me, I might be confused.
